    Car insurance: add-ons, fees, charges

    Car insurance: add-ons, fees, charges

    General add-ons
    Courtesy car
Courtesy cars are alternative vehicles offered by insurance companies when the car is away from the road after the accident. Some insurance companies are equipped with courtesy cars as standard, but this is usually under the condition that one of the authorized repairers has fixed the car.

Some insurance companies provide a courtesy car only when the car is damaged by an accident, not in the case of theft. If your car is stolen, or your vehicle is completely lost, other premiums will be charged separately.

    Legal cost insurance
Legal cost insurance covers the costs of legal actions arising from automobile insurance claims. Insurance covers events resulting from the use of your car. This includes measures against third parties against negligence, or to observe accusations made against you.

    Breakdown
Fail covers are often sold as add-ons and cost up to £ 35. For driving in Europe you can extend the extension cover to provide a cover to the continent. The extension costs up to 20 pounds and can normally cover up to 180 days in the EU.

    Individual Accident Compensation
Basic personal accident compensation is included as a standard in most policies. However, you can pay £ 20 to increase benefits to £ 100,000. This can be purchased separately.

    Windscreen cover
Windscreen covers often included in comprehensive policies repair windshield damage or replace front windows.

    key cover
Key insurance helps pay for the price if your key is lost. The attached cover will pay for the replacement lock. Some donors will also provide 24 hour support.

    Price
    Setup cost and renewal fee
Setup and renewal fees are relatively rare and are usually billed by an online broker. For example, First Cents will charge 50 pounds for both new businesses and update existing customer policies

    Adjustment fee
Changing your policy is likely to take you. The amendment includes changing the name of your policy (in case of marriage, for example), adding a second driver, and so on. The fee may be as high as 35 pounds, which is above the increase in premium due to the change.

    Cancellation and "cancellation" cancellation fee
Insurers may charge a fee if they decide that the insurer no longer needs your policy even within the 14-day cooling period. Under the law, the fee must be "reasonable", but it still can vary greatly from provider to provider. For example, IGO 4 will charge £ 75 if you can cancel at any time, but you can cancel at Age UK for free.

    Pay monthly remuneration
Paying your car insurance every month may seem like a good way to pay for expenses, but it can be expensive. Paying every month means taking a loan from a provider. Sometimes APR may be as high as 40%.

Pricing score is the total score of the insurer as a percentage of the maximum achievable score. In this table, insurers with 10 maximum and minimum premiums are displayed. Recommended provider. Correct table in December 2015.
